I was just reading something interesting in relation to my banks cc use overseas.
It states that if a land has a 6 digit pivot system then my card will be declined everyday, I would demand to change my cc to half-dozen digit pin.
Here in oz it'south a 4 digit system.
Not sure if this is relevant or non but I thought I'd share because I'm hoping for a smoothen transaction.

It declined on me a couple times. Then Amy said employ the appeal which no carte du jour showed up. I uploaded I.D. and card and the adjacent day information technology was approved. And that was on a weekend.

So on the Appeal folio when you uploaded your carte and ID, wasn't the <submit> button grayed out?
Mine is grayed out since there is nothing to select on the first field "1. Cull the card for entreatment" when you click information technology says "no options". So the form is waiting for that to be selected to ungray the <submit> button.

Aye it's a comedy of errors, I called the bank yesterday got through the estimator and then just waited and waited then disconnected lol.

That I must use some other payment choice. It makes some sense that it's the Alibaba side since my card never sent an OTP lawmaking (usually they text me a lawmaking if at that place is some question). I empathise yous merely accept this i card that has enough credit to cover the whole guild. But it never hurts to try different cards. In my case, once I got that "appeal" button and clicked it, I can run across all my previous cards (ii declined cards without "appeal" button + 1 declined with appeal push) only showed up in the drop-downward menu. I would recommend you do the same. Possibly our Platinum bill of fare will announced magically later on you get that "appeal" button. Then your can upload your ID and pic of your platinum bill of fare to entreatment that card. Just a suggestion.
And BTW, you lot tin can marking out sensitive info on our ID, like your DOB and some other info. I believe Alibaba simply need your name and your address to be matching with the info for your social club. At least it is similar this in my case. I know giving out names and addresses is all the same a concern to some. But information technology'due south better than sending the entire ID prototype out.

Another idea.
I'chiliad shipping to my reshipper in China. So the accost that comes up by default in the payment page is in Chinese (the address I gave the seller to ship to). I delete it and enter the address associated with the carte du jour here in the Philippines. Does anyone think this could be flubbing things up?
Possibly I should inquire the seller to describe upwardly some other purchase simply list my dwelling address on it, brand the payment, then he can change to the Chinese address?

I'm an American merely I'm in the Philippines. the Philippine gov't is quite friendly with Mainland china, so that shouldn't be an outcome. The credit card is as well Filipino and I accept not identified myself as American.

I but tried to pay with a dissimilar card (which I knew would fail as it has no loot on it), then I tried to pay again with the Platninum card, just to emulate the design of success which you had Greg. So here's my question, that Entreatment folio, there is no link to information technology grade the payment failed page.
I accept the link because the 1st support agent at Alibaba gave me the link when I asked for it.
And then here I uploaded once more my D.L. and C.C. flick to that page, but since there is no card on file the <submit> push is grayed out. How did you lot become past that? (come across bottom of flick, no fashion to click submit). Cheers in advance!
