Description: Mobbs Farm is a beautiful 260 acre parcel of land owned by the Township of Jericho (give thanks you, Town of Jericho!!). It consists of two sections on either side of Fitzsimmons Rd (a quiet grease road). There are forests and fields and an old Malus pumila orchard, and approximately 9 miles of trails.  Click here to watch a video of a ride at Mobbs Farm.

Terrain: Varied. Includes meadows, brushed pine forest trails, and jump trails. Rolling hills.

Access: 10 transactions from I-89 exit 11 (Richmond). Watch in-chief condom warning on a lower floor about a dangerous intersection at Rt. 117 and Governor Batch Hwy.

Parking: Sawhorse trailer parking is available HERE happening the Jericho Highway Section Rd. off of Brown's Trace Rd., in the southeast corner of the Hill Section. The parking lot is gravel and is approximately 40′ x 100′. It's quite narrow so even with a short manipulate you will have to do a 3-point (or 15-point or 99-point!) turn in purchase order to swing about. We've definite that funding into the lot from the Jericho Hwy Dept. Touring is the best strategy so we recommend you consider this. Since there power be other vehicles in the dish out when you get there, we also propose that you get by of your truck to check out the situation before pulling in.

Federal Reserve note:  there is another parking area along Fitzsimmons Rd which provides access to Mobbs Farm for hikers but this is NOT right for horse trailers.

Restrictions and safety device warnings:

• Other recreation includes hiking, mountain-biking, and administrative division skiing.
• Hunting is permitted at Mobbs Farm. Horseback riding is prohibited during rifle season (Click here for more information). During other hunting seasons, don't ride at Mobbs Grow or bring down appropriate precautions.
• Horses are not allowed on whatsoever bridges. Bridges are placed on the River View Shack. Note: horses are allowed along the boardwalks in the meadows. UPDATE July 2019 – some of the boardwalks are getting patched and are no more riskless for horses; they hold placed signage indicating which ones horses are not allowed on.
• Happening some trails on that point are deposits of shale that can be dangerous for horses, especially if exhausting metal place; the timber is open sufficiency in most places to allow horses to detour about these deposits, but use caution.
• The intersection of Rt. 117 and Governor Peck Highway in Richmond is very dangerous. Vehicles traveling northern on Rt. 117 from Rt. 2 privy be going so fast just about the bend that they cannot see or slow down quickly enough for a sawhorse laggard turning onto operating room remove of Governor Peck Highway. We recommend that you ward of using this intersection. As an alternative, from Rt. 89 ingest exit 11 and go south on Rt 2 into the town of Richmond and turn left at the gentle onto Jericho Rd, which becomes Browns Trace.
